Michele Erschen

Michele Erschen,  President of Troy Library

Michele Erschen is the director of marketing and community relations at McKendree University. She received her B.A. in English from Eastern Illinois University and her double major M.A. in marketing and business from Webster University. In 25 years on the job, she has worked in local government, regional not-for-profit and the educational sectors. Michele believes it is important to make a difference and to be a part of creating a lasting impact. She is proud of her involvement in providing education and support for those in need, and in grassroots efforts to build and celebrate local communities. Some of the more fun projects she’s worked on include the Rams’ Super Bowl parade through St. Louis and the Chihuly “Glass in the Garden” exhibit at the Missouri Botanical Garden. She has served on the Tri-Township Public Library Board of Trustees for nearly three years.

When she isn’t on McKendree’s campus or at an event, she can be found on a golf course, on a road trip with a great tunes, enjoying a good read, or hanging out with her husband and two daughters.
