Katie Devany

Trustee- 6 Year Trustee Term
(Ending 2027)

Katie Devany has been a resident of Troy since 2012 and is thrilled to serve on the Library Board. She is currently a faculty member at Saint Louis University where she has worked for over ten years. She also serves as the Director of the Leadership and Organizational Behavior undergraduate degree program in the School for Professional Studies. She holds a BS from Eastern Illinois University in Family and Consumer Science and Hospitality Mangement and a MS from the University of Central Florida in Hospitality and Tourism Management. She is currently completing her dissertation and plans to graduate in May 2024 with a PhD in Higher Education Administration from SLU.

A life-long learner, she has spent countless hours at the library studying, reading, participating in events, and learning new skills. She has immense pride in the Tri-Township Library and looks forward to working with the community to continue building awareness of the tremendous resources available. In her spare time, Katie loves traveling, theatre, fitness, and spending time with her husband and two children.
