The
Troy Genealogical Society meets at 7:00 pm on the first Wednesday of each
month. Meetings are usually held in the History/Genealogy Room located in
the Lower Level of the Library. There is an annual membership fee.
Members may use any of the Society's genealogical materials stored in the
History/Genealogy Room at the Library at any time during Library hours.
These materials include:
- Over 100 computer
CDs
- Over 100 books
- Back issues of the
Madison County Genealogical Society Quarterly
- Back issues of the
Illinois State Genealogical Society Quarterly
- Inventory of the
Troy City Cemetery (a work in progress)
Non-members may call
the Library at 667-2133 to make an appointment with a volunteer from the
Troy Genealogical Society for tips and advice about genealogy research.

The
online companion to the popular commercial software. The software is
available to members of the Troy Genealogical Society.
